42 The Story of Jackie Robinson : Movie Review

Jackie Robinson – the first African American baseball player – everyone knows who he is, but do they know the whole story? Well they don’t really need to, but I have to say you need to see 42. It was a twist of emotions – personally I get offended at racism and take it personally. There are a variety of reasons why, but that’s a discussion for another day. The point is it plays with your heart. Making you cheer, stand up, and support the various characters who are so dynamic across the story arc. Outside of the great writing, the acting was amazing. I just loved the casting. I’m going to make this short and sweet and jump to my review because I must admit this is probably my favorite movie so far this year.
