If I ignore the 300 -like blood effects and the explicit nature of the language, it was pretty decent. I’m glad I watched it on PPV and not in theaters, but it was a good rental. I guess overall I’m definitely not an Quentin Tarantino fan. This movie just takes home that point. I’m also not a fan of the fake blood and guts flying everywhere. To me it degrades the film like they couldn’t do any better than spraying paint (or whatever they use) all over the walls. It is 100% a turn-off. I thought the plot and the acting was outstanding, and totally see why it got so many nominations. Overall, for $4.99 it wasn’t too bad.
